- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Subpart 12.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. FS-WOC-3-19 is being issued by the USDA Forest Service as a Request for Quotations. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. A fixed price supply contract will be awarded based on responses to this solicitation. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns; NAICS 333120. A firm is considered small if it has less than 750 employees. This project is to furnish and deliver F.O.B. destination, one trail dozer with the following salient characteristics: minimum 80 horsepower; maxiumum width 48 inches; maximum length 133 inches; maximum track width and length 56 inches by 11 feet; six way dozer; rippers 3 shank; maximum blade lift 24 inches; maximum blade drop 24 inches; maximum blade angle 20 degrees; maximum blade tilt 25 degrees; burm buster mount on either side of blade; four-foot dozer slope board, reversible hydraulic 0 to 85 degrees; front and rear halogen lights; hydraulic winch with 9,000 pound pull mounted on ripper bar. Required delivery 60 days after notice of award. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 apply to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies and the evaluation factors are past performance and price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items shall be included with the quote. Quotes may be mailed to R8/R9 Western Operations Center, Aquisition Management, 401 Fairgrounds Road, Rolla, MO 65401. Quotes are due at close of buisness on June 20, 2003.
