- Description
- IMAX Precommercial Thinning and Slash Treatment - Work includes thinning of ponderosa pine trees to a 20 X 20 foot spacing. Trees up to 9 inches diameter breast height will be cut. Slash will be lopped below 2 feet, except areas adjacent to Forest Road 81 and private land which will be piled. Estimated totals are 786 acres thin and lop, 28 acres thin and pile. The project area is located approximately 50 miles southeast of Flagstaff, Arizona via Federal Highway 3 (Lake Mary Highway) and Forest Road 81.
