- Description
- The Carson National Forest intends to acquire services to conduct surveys for Abert's squirrels and red squirrels and develop small mammal species list for mixed conifer, ponderosa pine and riparian habitats. The services will require specialized knowledge and experience in working with montane mammal fauna, experience conduction tree squirrel and other small mammal surveys, a collection permit by the State of New Mexico Department of Game and Fish for Zapus hudsonius, and experience and knowledge in dealing with rodents potentially infected with hantavirus.
