- United States Government Seeks Sources for Leased Office and Related Space In Kansas City, Missouri Requirement: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease prestigious office and related space consisting of approximately 12,000 rentable square feet. Rentable space must yield approximately 10,503 to 10,800 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet. Structural support columns shall be no closer than 20 feet, center to center. Fifty-three parking spaces (5 handicapped) must be available within a 2-block radius from offered space, at reasonable commercial rates. On-site parking is preferred. Restricted or metered parking of one hour or less does not meet the parking requirement. Public transportation must be available within 2 blocks from offered space. Location: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area located in Kansas City, Missouri: North: 63rd Street South: 75th Street East: Prospect Boulevard West: Holmes Road Occupancy: Space must be ready for occupancy within 240 days from the date of lease award. Lease Term: The proposed rental term shall be ten (10) years, seven (7) years firm. Both existing space and new construction will be considered. The space must be fully serviced and altered to meet the Federal Government?s requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. Owners, brokers or agents may offer space or sites for consideration. Any properties submitted by brokers or agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized by the ownership to exclusively represent the building or property offered.
