Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure services from Advanced Graphics Equipment (AGE) to build a modified full Off-line Currency Inspection System (OCIS) and modify six existing systems with an upgraded component. The modifications will include redesign and reorientation of existing components and, will be made to the transport portion of the currency inspection systems currently used at the BEP. AGE is the original equipment manufacturer of the transports. The Government shall solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 15.002. See number note 22. The resultant purchase order will exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and the procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 shall be used.
