- Description
- The U S Naval Academy (USNA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with PaeTec Communications Inc, 22685 Holliday Park Drive, # 20, Sterling VA 20166, and the installation, Flat-Rate PRI for local service, PRI EUCL, and additional 100 Blocks of 100 DID numbers. Currently the government has a contract in place for this service with PaeTec Communications, Inc. The procurement of this service in a competitive basis will result in a duplication of cost and time to the government. The government incurred all these costs in the current contract with PaeTec and all of them will have to be incurred again if the government reopened this requirement for competition. Per FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This solicitation shall close on Friday, 16 May 2003. See Note 22.
