- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about 05/23/03. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of (1) furnishing and installing one 100,000 gallon single-pedestal water sphere, including design of the tank and concrete foundation, (2) demolition and removal of the existing 150,000 gallon multi-legged elevated tank, foundation and appurtenances, (3) installation of two radio antennas, on top of the tank, and (4) the installation of primary and secondary electrical distribution systems. This Solicitation is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. The NAICS code is 234910. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. A single award will be made. The construction estimate is between $250,000.00 and $500,000. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. .
