- Description
- The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the size standard is $12 million. This requirement will be competed under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and will be a full and open competition. The estimated price range of the work is $25,000 to $100,000. The work requires the contractor to provide all necessary material, equipment, and labor to replace the existing fire sprinkler system in the Girls Dormitory No. 03, Building 2403, Columbia Basin Civilian Conservation Corps, including design, furnishing, and installation of the new system. The work is located at the Columbia Basin Civilian Conservation Center, 6739 24th Street, Bldg. 2402, Moses Lake WA 98837-3246. The principal components of the work to be performed include: 1) replace existing fire sprinkler system with a wet sprinkler system. The system is housed in a two story building with a partial basement, approximately 15,740 square feet; 2) the new system shall meet NFPA 13 R code; and 3) the construction window is from June 28, 2003 to July 12, 2003. All work must be completed and inspected by the Grant County Fire District Assistant Chief for compliance no later than July 12, 2003. The solicitation will be available on or about May 28, 2003 (this is an estimated date). To obtain a copy of the Request for Quotations (RFQ) a written request must be received. Curtis Road, Suite 100, Boise ID 83706-1234. Your request must include your company name, a physical mailing address, telephone fax number, e-mail address, contact name and number, tax identification number (TIN), and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS). If you don't provide your DUNS and TIN in your request we will not send the solicitation to you. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. Offerors are advised that the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations for Construction promulgated under section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327, et.seq.) and the Bureau of Reclamation handbook entitled, "Reclamation Safety and Health Standards" (RSHS) will be applicable to the work under any resulting contract from this RFQ. The text and appendices of the RSHS can be viewed and downloaded online at http://www.usbr.gov/contracts/index.html. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency.
