The current known quantity for this item is 326 each. This acquisition covers potential requi rements for five (5) years for a total maximum quantity of 844. Orders will be issued one or more times as requirements materialize. However, this does not preclude the Government from ordering the maximum quantity at any time during the requirements peri od. A quantity of (1) one, Contractor Tested First Article required. Delivery schedule 145 days after contract award for submission and acceptance of test report. Production Delivery schedule 100 days after acceptance of test report. The closing date annot ated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Destination to be furnished. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Fir ms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which de fines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid/proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency, request solicitation pac kage from address above, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-MC, FAX Number 256-955-7737.
