Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73ACS31181100 being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-12, AFAC 2002-1122, AETC FAR Sup NOV 2002 Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20030301. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 514199 with a small business size standard of $6.0 million dollars per year. Line Item 1100: 1 ea, Provide acoustical consulting services for the Wood Auditorium, located in Bldg. 1402, Maxwell AFB, AL. THE FOLLOWING IS THE STATEMENT OF WORK FOR THIS REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the following tasks: Provide on-site visit at ACSC at Maxwell AFB AL to measure the existing acoustical qualities of Wood auditorium. Measurements will be used to determine the action required to improve the acoustical qualities. Analyze tape-recorded data in contractor?s office for analysis. Provide a report with recommendations for acoustical treatments. Including products and vendors. Provide follow-up phone calls to discuss recommendations. Service Delivery Summary: The offeror should provide the afore cited recommendations so that they work compatibly with the current system. Audio quality shall not be degraded with enhancements. There will be no government property provided, other than which utility services will be provided at no cost to the contractor. Period of Performance: Project shall be completed in 30 days from date of Award. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, https://farsite.hill.af.mil or http://www.arnet.far.gov . The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference IAW FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) and remain in full force in any resultant purchase order. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database IAW DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001).
