- Description
- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Health Administration Center (HAC), Denver, CO, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Southwest Texas State University for the administration of Services, Analysis and Extensive Complex Inquires/Analyses of the National VHA Patient Data Base. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFP 741-14-03) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12. Services include participating in managing the input/processing and report arrays of the VHA Financial and Clinical Data Mart and the DSS National Data Extracts (NDE) which bring together the data from 23 VA Networks of ~ 5-9 hospitals each. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Only one responsible source and no others will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. A separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. The NAICS Classification code is 541990, size limited is 6 million. The value range of this requirement is 300,000 =96 400,000 dollars.=20 CLAUSES/PROVISIONS: The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Offerors shall submit a completed copy of the Representations and certifications with their offers); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -Commercial Items.
