- This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation EA133R-03-RQ-0099 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This is a sole source procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The award will be in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate, and award to the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), 2B Technologies, Inc, for 12 each ?Item OZMON?, Model 202 Ozone Monitor, 12 V DC, with Data logger and Real Time clock, including accessories: AC Adapter, Battery Wire Adapter, Cigarette Lighter Adapter, Zeroing Cartridge, Serial Cable and Operation Manual. Items are to be delivered to U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division, R/ARL1, 456 S. Illinois Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. FOB shall be Destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is May 20, 2003, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via fax to (757) 441-3786. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating nomenclature, part number, unit price and extended price for the item offered; FOB Point, any discounts for prompt payment and business size standards and any minority classification. A Company representative authorized to commit the company must sign this offer. Packaging, packing and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices.
