- THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. The NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6.0. The Atomic Physics Division of the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a contract to provide assistance to the Atomic Spectroscopy Group. The specific tasks are described in the Statement of Work included in the attached Request for Quotation Number NA1341-03-Q-0414. The RFQ is being issued utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance shall be from June 1, 2003 through May 31, 2004 with one 1-year option period. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order on or about May 27, 2003. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
