- Description
- Architect and Engineering Services. USDA, Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Region. Routine bridge inspections and bridge ratings for various bridges on the Mt. Hood, Rogue River, Siskiyou, Siuslaw, Umpqua and Willamette National Forests in Oregon. Also included is some bridge design work. Bridge design work must be done by a Professional Engineer who is licensed in the State of Oregon Bridge inspections and reports shall fully comply with and satisfy requirements for routine bridge inspections as specified in AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges and National Bridge Inspection Standards, Title 23 CFR Part 650, Subpart C. Inspection Team Leader shall meet the NBIS requirements for an Inspection Team Leader and shall have satisfactorily completed a comprehensive bridge inspection training course based on the Bridge Inspector?s Training Manual 90 and shall be a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Oregon with a minimum of five years experience in inspecting the type of bridge being inspected. Bridge ratings shall be performed in accordance with Chapter 6 of the AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges, 1994 Second Edition. All bridge rating work shall be performed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Oregon. This solicitation will result in an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, (multiple awards possible) contract for one year with one renewal option.
