- This information is for solicitation SP0100-03-R-0139. The item is Trousers, Mns P/W Gab BL SH 3346. The applicable NSN(s) for this procurement is 8405-00-150-2053. The military specification is MIL-T-41828H dated 22 October 1987 with pattern dated 31 Oct 1997. The purchase quantity is 7,110 Min-11,850 Max with four (4) additional term options. The destination is New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The delivery period is scheduled to begin 120 days after award. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Set Aside for Small Business Firms. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item are to be furnished by the contractor with the exception of the basic fabric(Cloth, P/W Gabardine BL SH 3346), which will be provided as GFM. Source selection procedures will be utilized. The following factors will be utilized in descending order of importance: PDM, Past Performance and DLA Mentoring Business Agreements Program. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. Reference numbered notes 1, 9 and 26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
