- Description
- This synopsis is notification of Agency intent to extend contract DECA02-97-D-0031 for 30 days starting September 1, 2003, and ending September 30, 2003, to the incumbent contractor, Special Markets, Inc, 1421 Diamond Springs Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. A competitive contract was originally awarded in October of 1997 for deli/bakery services at military commissaries located in five clusters of the Eastern Region. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a requirements contract with a fixed percentage of savings. The extension will provide uninterrupted services of the delicatessen and/or bakery resale operations at Ft Stewart, GA, Hunter AAF, GA, Mayport NS, FL, Moody AFB, GA, Robins AFB, GA, Shaw AFB, SC, Jacksonville NAS, FL, MacDill AFB, FL, Patrick AFB, FL, Tyndall AFB, FL, Hurlburt AFB, FL, Ft Benning, GA, Ft Gillem, GA, Ft Gordon, GA, Eglin AFB, FL, Charleston AFB, SC, Pensacola NAS, FL, Charleston NWS, SC, Ft Jackson, SC, Parris Island MC, SC, Memphis NAS, TN, Gunter AFB, AL, Maxwell AFB, AL, Redstone Arsenal, AL, Ft Rucker, AL, Barksdale AFB, LA, Ft Polk, LA, Columbus AFB, MS, Keesler AFB, MS and Kings Bay, GA military commissaries pending the award of the new competitive contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.*****
