- Description
- This is a notice of intent from the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis with Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75070 for continuation of technical support for the NRL's demonstration and data collection radars based on the Navy's operational AN/APS-137 radar. The continued focus is with the Automataic Radar Periscope Detection and Discrimination (ARPDD) system, which is a variant of the APS-137 radar. Technical support for the subject radar includes pre-deployment laboratory checkout; test of radar flight programs; advanced profile land mobile programs; failed weapon replaceable assemblies and repair; modifications to existing radar collection modes; modifications to standard Navy radars for experiments; antenna modifications; and software modifications.
