- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for sixty (60) each Vertical Launch Anti-Submarine Rocket Reassembly Kits. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems - Akron. The kits contain hardware and other miscellaneous parts used in the reassembly of the missile components to ensure the missile?s ?flight-worthy? status. The kits should be designed IAW NAVSEA drawing 6206155 and should reflect the current Lockheed Martin revision. Place of delivery is Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, WA. Delivery desired within 12 months of date of contract. The sole source commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 16 May 2003 with a closing date of 30 May 2003. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 16 May 2003. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time.
