- NA Work includes but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications to repoint deteriorated joints of brick chimneys, brick walls, concrete masonry units (CMU) and stone constructions. The work also includes removing existing deteriorated bricks, concrete masonry units and stones, and replacing with new members. Work in family housing (AFH) and other than family housing (OMA) are similar in nature a nd have been segregated for Government accounting purposes only. Chimney repointing will include removing existing flashing and reinstalling with new sealants. The new repointing mortar and bricks shall match very closely the color, texture, hardness, pe rmeability, tooling, and other characteristics of the original mortar and bricks. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be a firm fixed-price requirements contract. Ordering period is 365 calendar days from date of aw ard. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates, is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $12.0 million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 238140. RFP is to be issued on or about 28 May 03.
