Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare= d in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Provide and install one (1) each Liebert Deluxe System 3 Model No. DH290AUAAEI nominal 22-ton precision environment control unit or equal. Unit to have the following standard and optional features: high ambient outdoor propeller fan speed condenser; 460 VAC, three phase power connection; non-locking disconnect, indoor and outdoor, infrared humidifier, three (3) stage electric reheat, advanced microprocessor, floor stand 18 inch; two (2) LT300 spot leak detectors; provide and set-up all supplemental air while unit exchange is taking place; provide and install 25 new wood core access floor panels for air distribution or a minimum of one (1) tile per ton of AC; clean under raised access floor prior to use as under floor air distribution plenum; install a site link for Modbus interface to Johnson-Controls Metasys System. Offerors are encouraged to visit the installation site prior to making their offer. All interested parties should contact Mr. George Campbell at 520-629-4756 to arrange for visit. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 12. The unit and all installation shall be completed and ready for final inspection, not later than 180 days after date of award. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions of Offerors=97Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the following addendum FAR 52.216-1 Type of Contract (Firm Fixed Price); FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit; VAAR 852.233-70 Protest Procedures; VAAR 852-233-71 Alternate Protest Procedures and VAAR 852.270-1 Representatives of the Contracting Officer. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable with the following criteria: Award will be based on Technical =96 Equipment meeting the requirements, Past Performance and Price. Technical and Past Performance when combined are somewhat more important than price. Offers shall include a complete copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offers Representations and Certification =96 Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions =96 Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: FAR 52.223-3 Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data; FAR 52.223-11 Ozone-Depleting Substances; FAR 52.223-12 Refrigeration Equipment and Air Conditioners; FAR 52.228-5 Insurance=97Work on a Government Installation; FAR 52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment and Vegetation; FAR 52.242-15 Stop Work Order; VAAR 852.270-4 Commercial Advertising; and VAAR 852.237-70 Contractors Responsibilities.
