- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. DTFASW-03-R-04441 Establish a new Remote Transmitter/Receiver site at Bentonville and Decatur, Arkansas POINT OF CONTACT: Carla Brawley, Contracting Officer, 817-222-4331; Brad Gilmore, Contract Administrator, 817-222-4348 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Small Business construction contractors interested in providing offers for the construction/installation of a new Remote Transmitter/Receiver site at sites in Bentonville and Decatur, Arkansas. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23799. The estimated price range of this project is $150, 000 -$250,000. Contract performance time is 120 calendar days. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, clearing the sites of all vegetation, installing antenna towers, installing government furnished concrete shelters, electrical work, grading, paving, grounding and lightning protection, and installing chain link fences. The contractor is expected to perform 20% of the work using its own employees. A determination as to whether or not a pre-bid meeting will held will be made at a latter date. The Request for Offer Package is expected to be available to small business contractors on May 14, 2003. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than noon May 13, 2003. RFO packages will be provided only to the first 15 requestors. Contractors must provide name of company, physical mailing address, telephone number and FAX number.
