Description

The Social Security Administration, (SSA), intends to negotiate solely with Fortran Corporation for the upgrade of the ACD system at the SSA Mid America Program Service Center (MAMPSC), in Kansas City Missouri, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The current ACD software is at the end of its life cycle. In order to ensure continued support of this product and to keep pace with technology, SSA requires an upgrade to the current version of the ACD software. IntelliCenter 4.0 is the latest ACD software version offered by Fujitsu. Fortran Corporation currently provides the maintenance and support services for the F9600XL PBX system at the MAMPSC. Due to the warranty coverage on the PBS phone system, only Fortran Corporation can perform upgrades on software components of the system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
