- Request For Information Due Date: May 30, 2003 This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. Responses to this publication are solicited to identify qualified sources. Request for Information for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. The Peace Corps is looking for innovative solutions for medical supplies acquisition from original need through overseas delivery with a goal of process improvement and overall efficiencies. - This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and is being used for internal planning. It is not a Request for Proposal, or solicitation, or an indication that the Government will contract for this equipment. The Peace Corps is requesting information from industry for procurement of medical equipment/supplies in support of overseas posts for the Peace Corps. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this RFI and is in no way obligated by the information received. This RFI is for various pharmaceuticals and equipment with varying quantities for each piece and for multiple shipping destinations throughout the world. Current Peace Corps overseas post locations can be viewed at the Peace Corps web site at www.Peacecorps.gov.. Interested parties should provide product information and cost per unit no later than due date stated above. Shipping costs should not be addressed pursuant to this RFI. All responses are requested to indicate if they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, or HUB zone small business. Please indicate if items are available on a GSA schedule. Please identify GSA Schedule number, expiration date, and quantity limits. Provide an electronic indexed/searchable catalog website or a CD of products offered including price. No Solicitation document exists. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit questions via email to shamilton@peacecorps.gov and courtesy copy to Kathleen Goldstein, Kgoldstein@peacecorps.gov. The intent is to issue multiple contracts for all required items. Exceptions will be considered. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
