- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Sea Box Incorporated (SBI) for the procurement of fourteen (8 green, 6 tan) Special Purpose ISO Containers. The containers will be complete with CSC certification that will provide protection to the contents during transportation, loading, and off-loading. The container maximum dimensions will be 8 feet x 8 feet x 20 feet nominally and will have a tare weight of no more than 5500 lbs and a payload of no less than 47000 lbs. SBI will provide the containers because only those articles that have been successfully tested are qualified. The objective of this process is to verify that the transportation system provides acceptable levels of safety throughout the specified operating range when approved operating and maintenance procedures are followed. The intent of the process is to provide maximum reasonable assurance that an accident will not occur. Sea Box Incorporated is the only company that has been qualified by cognizant authority to provide the Special Purpose ISO containers. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 West Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. NAICS Code 332439 applies. SBA Size Standard is 750 employees. FSC is 8145
