- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Hydroid, Inc., 81 Technology Park Drive, East Falmouth, MA 02536-4442 on a sole source basis for the modification of the source code of the REMUS Autonomous Underwater Vehicle to accept command and control input from the Integrated Combat Weapons System (ICWS). The REMUS must also be able to communicate vehicle status and position information and pass all data files to the ICWS. The source code of the REMUS is proprietary to Hydroid so it is not possible for any other company to design and implement the changes to the code required to provide this new functionality. Completion date is approximately 30 September 2003. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. NAICS Code 541511 applies.
