Description

NA This is a pre-solicitation notice for a regional Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Multiple Award, Paint and Body Restoration Services contract for various military equipment located within the state of Florida. Equipment to be restored/painted may consist of High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), Utility and Cargo Trucks, Ambulances, 2 1/2 Ton Personnel Trucks, 5 Ton Personnel Trucks/Dump Trucks, Various Track Vehicles such as Armored Personnel Carriers, M1 Abraham Combat Tanks, Infant ry Fighting Vehicles, Howitzer Track Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Water Tank Trailers, Tractor and Semi-trailers, Fuel Tanker Semi-trailers, Low-bed Semi-trailers, Forklifts, Front-end Loaders, Tractors with backhoe, Generators, Compressors and Tank and Pump Units (TPU) and others. Potential paint contrctors must have a facility or facilities large enough to paint equipment and perform body restoration in accordance with current military standards. Projected regional sites will be in or in the vicinity of Pa nama City, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Sanford, lakeland, Temple Terrance, Fort Lauderdale, St. Augustine, Titusville, St. Petersburg, Plant City, Sarasota, and West Palm Beach. All projected sites are in the state of Florida. Availability of any formal request for proposal will be announced separately. This is not a solicitation. No solicitation package exists at this time. Contracts awarded from a subsequent solicitation will be considered commercial service contracts under NAICS code 811121. As a commercial item, a resulting contract will be on a firm fixed price (FFP) or fixed price with economic price adjustment (EPA) basis. The resulting contracts will be base year plus option years.
