- NA Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair, which shall include all necessary labor, supervision, parts, travel, equipment, tools and test equipment necessary to provide a quarterly preventive maintenance services on the Channel Interface Switches (C IS) as well as emergency maintenance service (normal duty hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday), and emergency maintenance service (all times other than normal duty hours). The CIS quarterly maintenance will be done during the normal duty hours. The CIS consists of a Systems Controller, Operator Console and Video terminal. All preventive maintenance shall be performed on site and in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer?s specifications and standards. The items listed above are located at the Pentagon, Washington DC. Offerors must be able to respond to an emergency call within two (2) hours whether it is placed during normal duty hours or other than normal duty hours. The government anticipates a Fixed Price contract with cost reimbur sable CLINs for emergency calls and major replacement parts. This requirement is for a 12 month base year beginning 12 June 2003 through 11 June 2004 with three 12 month option periods. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor s Registration Database (CCR) prior to award of a contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR may render your firm ineligible for award. Registration can be accomplished on www.ccr.gov. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for Small Business and is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial/Items Services under FAR Part 12. Awardee personnel are required to have a Top Secret security clearance. The North Ame rican Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541513 with size standard of $21.0 million. This will be best value procurement based on Past Performance and Price. Award shall be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. The anticipated release date for the RFQ is as soon as practicable but no later than 30 May 2003. Offerors will only be allowed 5 business days from release date to submit offers.
