- NA Fort Lewis, WA is seeking comments on a Performance Based Statement of Work and Bid Schedule for Custodial Services at varaious administrative building at Fort Lewis, WA. This requirement is an 8(a) set-aside. The solicitation will be issued as a base pl us 4 option years. You are encouraged to: a. Evaluate and challenge all elements of the draft Performance Based Statement of Work. b. Identify requirements that account for a high percentage of total cost or are unduly restrictive; c. Identify techniques or methods that result in delivery of better service; d. Identify any new technology approaches/ techniques appropriate for the procurement described in the Performance Based Statement of Work, that would result in a better performing contract or in cost savings to either party. The draft SOW and bid schedule are available for downlaod at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc in the solicitations section of the WEB site. All questions and comments should be sent by e-mail to Carole Benson at bensonc@lewis.army.mil. Responses should be received no later than May 23, 2003 at 4:30 PM PDT. All responses will be compiled and available for download on the Fort Lewis Contracting WEB site within 10 calendar days after receipt.
