Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 485113 and the Business Size Standard is $6 million. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DABJ05-03-T-0494. CLIN 0001-Qty 160 Seat Mfg by Isringhausen Model ISRI 1801/575, PN # ISR8598401 These seats are a component of the BIDS (Biological Integrated Detection System). This system is comprised of a HMMWV and a shelter attached. These seats will be mounted inside the shelter. The seat must have the following: Lef t Hand controls, Headrest-4 way adjustable, Armrests- short style, Swivel-Lockout at 0 degree position only, 65mm Height/tilt mechanism, fore/aft adjustment 240mm, vertical height adjustment 100mm, moulded polyurethane foam cushions, heavy duty black vinyl uph, and special bottom mounting adapter plate. Requisition Number W91B943112-3100. Acceptance shall be at Destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination. Delivery shall be to the U.S. Army, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010. The provision at 52.212 -1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; fill-ins in Paragraph (a) are ? Technical, Price and Past Performance? and ? Technical and Past Per formance are more important than Price?. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, app lies to this acquisition.
