Description

Services non personal: Provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to operate the base Furnishing Management Office at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. Functions include budgeting, requisitioning, receiving, warehousing, pick up/delivery, and records management of furniture items in support of approximately 7,000 bed spaces and billeting facilities. Performance period is a base period of 12 months (1 Oct 03- 30 Sep 04) plus 2 six-month options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. Important Notice to Offerors: Keesler AFB is in the midst of an A-76 Cost Study for a Base Operating Support (BOS) contract. If the A-76 study remains on schedule, the last six month option will not be exercised. Estimated issue date of this solicitation #F22600-03-R-0009 is 29 May 03. This Request for Proposal is set aside for Hub Zone small business concerns (NAICS Code 561990/$6 million threshold). All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by this agency. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued under Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and an award, using the Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procurement process will be made in the form of a Fixed-Price contract.
