- Description
- The James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center, Altoona, PA. intends to issue a sole source procurement to Delval Equipment Corp., Washington, PA. under the authority of FAR 6.302. This procurement is to Upgrade existing Cleaver-Brooks 300 H.P., Dual Fuel, Firetube Boiler with the Autoflame Micro Modulation Combustion Control consisting of Module MK6-6 channel, VVS Scanner 4/U, Gas Sensor, Oil Sensor, PID Pressure Sensor, Servo, Oil Valve Metering, EGA Exhaust Gas Analyzer, EGA Sampling Probe, Nox Sensor, SO2 Sensor, Data Transfer Interface Module, and Setup. It is the belief of the Government that there is currently only one responsible source capable of providing and installing this equipment to satisfy the agency requirement. A determination by the Gavernment not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer via e-mail at Jean.Gelbke@med.va.gov or by fax to 814-942-9253 within ten(10) days from date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. If no responses are received, the James E. VanZandt VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source procurement from Delval Equipment Corp.
