- Description
- 1. The U. S. Coast Guard requires one (1) system-oriented contractor Field Service Representative (FSR) for the ATF3-6 turbofan engine and the GTCP36 APU (auxiliary power unit) utilized on the HU25 aircraft for a period of one year with four one-year options. The Field Service Representative?s location will be USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Honeywell International, Inc., Tempe, AZ, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. All data and specifications necessary for the Field Service Representative to provide the required services are proprietary to the OEM. The Coast Guard does not possess and cannot supply the data. All responsible sources may submit an offer, that will be considered, to the U.S. Coast Guard, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Attn: Contracting Officer, HU25 PLD, Bldg 79, Elizabeth City, NC, 27909-5001. Anticipated award date is no later than September 30, 2003. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is July 20, 2003, 4:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Savings Time. PROPOSALS ARE TO REMAIN EFFECTIVE FOR 90 DAYS AFTER CLOSE OF SOLICITATION. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be forwarded to 252-334-5427. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating the nomenclature; part number; unit price and extended price, FOB point; payment terms and any discount offered for prompt payment, the business size standard and any minority classification; delivery date, and Representation and Certifications.
