- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source acquisition with VERSA Management Systems & Associates for the modification of Disability Determination Services? (DDS) case processing software. The modifications will support and integrate electronic SSA eForms into the DDS operations and SSA?s Electronic Folder data repository, including both unstructured and structured data repositories. This is a multi-phased project that will: (1) require validation and testing of eForms to ensure compatibility and effective distribution of eForms to the DDS environment in a standalone setting; (2) require software modification of proprietary case processing software, validation, testing, and integration of the modified software with the DDS case processing systems; and (3) require software modification of proprietary case processing software, validation, testing, and integration of the modified software with SSA?s Electronic Folder (EF) data repositories. Interested vendors must have unfettered copyright and development access to the VERSA Management Systems & Associates' case processing software for DDS environments. The vendor must be able to deliver the phased deliverables in accordance with timelines required by SSA. Interested vendors must clearly state their ability to provide the service required. Response to this notice must be made within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA's assessment of capable sources. Responses must be labeled LH-03-004 and submitted to Leslie Hyman via e-mail, fax or at the address listed above. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided.
