- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-award- fee contract modification to contract N00024-03-C-6207 with Raytheon Company, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island 02871-1087. Contract N00024-03-C-6207 provides for the development, engineering and technical services, and production of the CCS MK2 Combat Control System. The Government has a requirement to procure an additional 309,820 man-hours of systems engineering and technical services in support of the Combat Control Systems program. Raytheon Company will provide the necessary systems engineering and technical services required for the development of a CCS MK2 Block 1C ECP004 (AN/BYG-1) Mod 6 variant that will be installed on Royal Australian Navy (RAN) submarine platforms and shore facilities. The existing contract, N00024-03-C-6207, period of performance is from 13 Decemb er 2002 through 31 December 2003 with four (4) options for performance through 31 December 2007. As the designer and developer, and producer of the CCS MK2 Block 1C ECP004 only Raytheon possesses a thorough knowledge of this complex vehicle?s design, manufacture, and the resources critical to providing the necessary support to meet the Government?s needs in a timely manner.
