Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 9 and 10 Disposable Non-Sterile Patient and Staff Gowns - Standardization Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Disposable Non-Sterile Patient and Staff Gowns. TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California are in the process of standardizing Disposable Non-Sterile Patient and Staff Gowns. If your company currently holds or in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Disposable Non-Sterile Patient and Staff Gowns, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than May 16, 2003. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1.Does your company manufacture or distribute disposable non-sterile gowns for patient and staff use? If so, what types of gowns (type of protection) does your company manufacture or distribute? 2.Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? If yes, what is your DAPA Number? 3.Under what brands does your company manufacture or distribute your products? 4.Are your gowns latex free? 5.Are your gowns low lint? 6.Do your gowns have barrier protection against particulate matter and fluids? 7.Are your gowns made of breathable and lightweight material? 8.What sizes do your gowns come in? 9.What lengths do your gowns come in? 10.How do your gowns secure? 11.What type of cuffs do your gowns have? 12.What type of neckline do your gowns have? 13.Does your company provide customer service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week? If not, what are your customer service and availability hours? 14.What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 15.Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group?
