- Description
- Offer of property transfer. One (1) large aircraft maintenance stand on a wheeled towable platform. Manufactured by Israel Military Industries, Ltd. (out of business). Used for C-17 tail section maintenance. Includes two electrically adjustable working platforms, a 4 dual wheel caster base with locking device, and a fixed platform safety guard. Includes a jib crane with 1000lb lifting capacity, and capable of both translation and azimuth motion. Constructed of low carbon steel. Dimensions: 59 feet maximum height, 27 feet width. Operational condition with exception of a broken upper crane motor. Availability of parts unknown. Will consider all offers to transfer ownership of stand to interested parties. This stand may be provided free of charge to any responsible party who will promptly disassemble and remove the stand from Charleston AFB SC. Disassembly, removal, and freight is the sole responsibility of the interested party. Photos will be e-mailed upon request.
