IT HAS 77 EQUALLY SPACED SLOTS OF DOVETAIL SHAPE AT THE OUTER RIM OF THE DISK. THE DISK IS ALSO A ROTATING DEVICE THAT HOLDS COMPRESSOR BLADES VIA DOVETAIL SLOT FIT. IT IS PART OF THE ENGINE?S HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSOR (HPC) AND SUBJECT TO HIGH ROTATIONAL STRESS. TIE RODS HOLD THE DISK TO OTHER DISKS AND SPACERS TO FORM THE HPC ROTOR. APPROX DIMS: 23.5 IN DIA, 6 IN CENTER BORE. THICKNESS OF DISK VARIES FROM 0.2-1.0 IN. MATL IS PWA 1022 NICKLE ALLOY. APPL TF33. 10 Max, 8 Med, 4Min. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 28 February 2005 . ACCELERATED DELIVERIES ARE ACCEPTABLE. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001 The approximate issue date will be 20 May 03, and response date will be 19 June 2003. The anticipated award date will be 30 June 2003. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, CT 06118 . All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Red/Yellow/Green Evaluation will be used to award this contract. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
