Item 0001, New Manufacture, Item 0002 New/Unused Government Surplus Acceptable. NSN: 6685-01-437-1133PR, P/N: 1525M36P07. Sensor. Applicable to: F110-100 Engine. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: starting May 2004, a quantity between 5 ea and 31 ea will be acquired. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award. At this time the Government?s BEQ is 14 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited. (5-13 ea) and (14-22 ea) and (23-31). Qualification requirements: Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design can be considered approved sources for this item. The drawings and associated data to produce this part are source controlled and can only be obtained from a manufacturing source called out on drawings. Complete drawings/data are not available. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The approximate response date will be 20 Jun 03. The anticipated solicitation posting date will be 20 May 03. The anticipated award date is 30 July 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. THIS ITEM IS SOLE SOURCE TO ROSEMOUNT, INC. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
