- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS). The 311 HSW/YAPS, Brooks City-Base, TX is seeking sources for a VALVE, PNEUMATIC INFLATION. Relative NIACS code 421830. Item is the inlet valve used on 20-Man Life Raft. Quantity: 170 EACH. Predominate Material & Dimensions: Brass & Rubber: 3.5 X 1.0 inches. A FIRST ARTICLE, consisting of five (5) units is required. Contractor First Article Testing required. Must be manufactured to Military Standard MS29600 and Procurement Specification of MIL-V-8883. Recommended Source: STAR-GLO INDUSTRIES, LLC (17384), 2 Carlton Ave., East Rutherford NJ 07073-1612, must also submit First Article requirements. Firms possessing the capabilities to accomplish requirement are invited to submit a statement of qualification, enclose product information/catalogues, current GSA or other schedule information (if applicable) and price list/schedule.
