- Description
- The Forest Service will be accepting proposals for the rehabilitation of the Bear Creek Bridge on Forest Service Road M10. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and disposal of the Bear Creek Bridge superstructure, modification to the existing concrete abutments and replacement with a precast/prestressed voided concrete slab superstructure on the existing concrete abutments. Work also includes slump and strength tests for the structural concrete, sediment control, management of traffic, and installation of riprap. Two option items of crushed aggregate base and asphalt surfacing will be included. LOCATION: The project area is located at Bear Creek Bridge on FS road M10 in Lake County, CA in the Mendocino National Forest. Estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Estimated start work date is August 4, 2003, contract time 90 days. Proposal due date estimated as June 18, with an estimated issue (upload) date of the solicitation on May 19.
