- Description
- This project consists of constructing three inch hot bituminous plant mix overlay at designated locations on the existing asphalt surface for roads and parking areas within the campground and the construction of aggregate shoulders where designated. Application of a one and one half inch hot bituminous plant mix leveling course at designated locations prior to the construction of three inch hot bituminous plant mix overlay. The project is located on the Tahoe National Forest, Downieville Ranger District. From Nevada City, north on Hwy 49 for approximately 22 miles to the intersection with Marysville Road, turn left onto Marysville Road and proceed ahead for approximately 3.5 miles to the turn off for Hornswoggle Group Campground. Turn left and proceed ahead for approximately three hundred feet to the beginning of the project. Estimated start work date September 3, 2003, contract time 37 days. Estimated solicitation issue date May 28, 2003.
