Description
MULTI-SOURCE INTEGRATOR(MSI) DEMONSTRATION The Single Integrated Air Picture System Engineer Task Force (SIAP SE TF), in concert with United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) and Joint Air and Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO), have previously solicited interest for participation in controlled field and laboratory demonstrations to baseline the performance of existing Air Warfare Command and Control (C2) Multi-Source Integrator (MSI) systems. Due to the cancellation of the Roving Sands 2003 Multi-Source Integrator (MSI) Demonstration, the SIAP SE is considering and hereby solicits interest for participation in two candidate live events listed below: (1) JCIET CIDex 2003 live-fly event. Conducted in the vicinity of Gulfport, MS, from 4-14 August 2003. The test methodology will consist of a live-fly environment and the scenario will focus on air-to-surface (Tim e Sensitive Targeting (TST) and Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain Close Air Support (MOUT CAS) and air defense. Please note, due to current world events, there are many unknowns with this option to include participants and data availability. A vendor-planning day is being considered and is tentatively scheduled to take place during the event?s final planning conference in late May 03. (2) CJTFEX 04-2 live-fly event. Conducted 12-21 June 2004, with location to be announced. The test methodology would consist of a live-fly environment with a forcible entry operational scenario. Vendor planning sessions will take place later this year. GOAL OF THE MSI DEMONSTRATIONS. The goal of the multi-phased, multi-event demonstrations is to baseline the performance of existing Air Warfare Command and Control MSI systems, which will assist the Government in establishin g future procurement requirements. A planning conference is being held 28-30 May 03 in Gulfport, MS. Test and data signals to be used will be finalized at this event. An Industry Day is tentatively planned for 30 May to coincide with the planning conference. NOTICE OF ATTENDANCE. Those companies interested in participating in the JCIET CIDex 2003 live-fly event, CJTFEX 04-2 live-fly event or both events, should contact LCDR John H. Windom NLT Wednesday May 14, 03 by phone (202) 781-4965 or by e-mail at WindomJH@NAVSEA.NAVY.MIL.) Additionally, request companies indicate their interest in attending the tentatively scheduled Industry Day. Participating companies must be able to satisfy SECRET (NOFORN) security clearance requirements. Note: Government will not reimburse participants for any travel or lodging expenses.
