Description
The United States Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Command (MCNOSC) has an immediate requirement for Applied Hacking Techniques and training. This requirement is being issued by Gov.Works under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of MCNOSC. The training must be based around, not only the tools and techniques, but the strategies and methodology used along the way. It must demonstrate the necessary steps taken to compromise IT systems via external attacks and be taught by means of real example, solid theory and hands-on exercises on how a hacker would break into a network. MCNOSC requires instruction be conducted on-site May 24-30, 2003 by two highly experienced security analysts, each having been involved with the design of large scale security projects. Instructors must have real world experience in performing ethical penetration tests. The contractor must provide all necessary servers, manuals and related course content. The Government intends to negotiate this commercial services requirement on a sole source basis with the Sensepost in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit proposals. All proposals or quotes must be received within 5 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis via email to Joyce.Grudzinski@mms.gov or via facsimile at 703-787-1836. Joyce Grudzinski can be reached at 703-786-1365
