- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation DADA13-03-Q-0006 is hereby issued as a Request for Q uote. Submit unit pricing for the unit of issue and quantities listed. This solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 532111, which has a small business size standard of $21.5 million. Requirement is as follows (CLIN #; Description; Unit of Issue, Quantity): CLIN 0001; Mid-size sedans (gasoline engine, minimum 4-passenger, 1999 or newer model , automatic transmission). CLIN 0001AA; maximum 10 sedans for three months; Months, 30 Max. CLIN 0001AB; maximum 10 sedans per month up to an additional nine months; Months, 90 Max. CLIN 0001AC; maximum 10 sedans per week up to four weeks; Weeks, 40. CL IN 0002; Mini-vans (gasoline engine, minimum 7-passenger, 1999 or newer model, automatic transmission). CLIN 0002AA; maximum 3 mini-vans for three months; Months, 9 Max. CLIN 0002AB; maximum 3 mini-vans per month up to an additional nine months; Months, 2 7 Max. CLIN 0002AC; maximum 3 mini-vans per week up to four weeks; Weeks, 12 Max. CLIN 0003; Minimum Guarantee, is the value of CLIN 0001AA and CLIN 0002AA; Lot, 1. CLIN 0004; Final Turn In Fuel Charge per gallon; Gallon, 100 Max. An ID/IQ contract wil l be awarded with the initial task order for CLIN 0001AA and CLIN 0002AA; if needed, additional task orders will be awarded for CLIN 0001AB and CLIN 0002AB; as necessary, the final task order will be for CLIN 0001AC and CLIN 0002AC if period is less than o ne month. CLIN 0004 will be included in task orders as needed due to scheduled turn-in of vehicles at the end of the task order(s). CLIN 0003 will only be used if CLIN 0001AA and CLIN 0002AA are not met, and only for the difference between the contract a mount and task order amounts unless the difference is the result of vendor action. Vehicles will be picked up at the local rental office or designated location in the North Star Borough area, Fairbanks, AK. Includes unlimited mileage. Normal operator maint enance will be the responsibility of the driver. Scheduled maintenance will be the responsibility of the rental agency. Rental agency must provide government POC at least 48 hour advance notice prior to scheduling routine maintenance. Drivers are require d to have a valid drivers license and be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, each driver must be listed as an authorized driver for Bassett Army Community Hospital through the Logistics Division, which will provide the list to the vendor. Vehicle must be returned with a full fuel tank on final return. Vehicles returned with less than a full tank of fuel will be filled by vendor and billed to CLIN 0004. Rental insurance will not be required and drivers are exempt from signing insurance waivers, as the government is self- insured. Vehicle(s) will be used in and around place of duty, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, not to exceed a 50-mile radius. Tire damage beyond fair wear and tear will be replaced at an additional expense to the government by separate purcha se. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards if necessary to fill the requirement based on quantities offered in the quotes.
