- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, and supervision necessary for the project titled, Expand Fuel Barn Maintenance Pad. The following is a summary of work for Project NUEX01-1700 located at Luke AFB, Arizona: Constructing a 153' long x 84' wide x 11" THK Reinforced Concrete aircraft apron adjoining the east side of the existing fuel barn apron and a 153? long x 54? wide x 11? thick concrete aircraft apron adjoining the west side of the fuel barn apron. Furnish and install a 135? x 50' pre-engineered metal bldg. over each concrete apron. Each shelter will consist of three 45?x 50?x 22? high bays with a Factory Pre-Finished roof, no walls required. The aprons shall have tie down/grounding points. The maintenance bays shall be lighted; have electrical outlets and have shop air system outlets. Each structure will have lightning protection systems. The above description of work is for the purpose of general information only and is not intended to include and describe every feature or item of work. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION. Award of a contract as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment of this contract may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the contracting officer. The contracting officer will confirm availability of funds in writing to the contractor upon award of contract. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal, Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) and is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a firm fixed price contract. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Code is 23571, SIC code is1771. Size Standard is $12,500,000. A solicitation will be issued on or about 16 May 03, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive any resulting contract award. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet at address http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Education and Training Command, Luke AFB Contracting. Anyone wishing to participate on this proposed procurement must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the Internet. Copies of solicitations will not be mailed out of this office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet.
