- Description
- Synopsis Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Project PLH-DEWA 10(3), Warren County, New Jersey. This project consists of roadway reconstruction by pulverization and recycling the existing asphalt pavement of South Old Mine Road from the VanCampens Brook Bridge to Millbrook Village, drainage replacements, safety improvements, and other miscellaneous work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about May 7, 2003. Bids will be due on or about June 10, 2003. Please call 703-404-6288 to verify availability of the bid documents. Final issue and due dates and the list of planholders will be posted on our website under Procurement Information. Internet address: www.efl.fhwa.dot.gov. All requests for bid documents will be mailed first class. It is strongly recommended that requests for bid documents be received 7 calendar days before bid opening to ensure receipt of requested materials. Requests for faxing or overnight mailing will not be accepted. ATTENTION: Minority, Women owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
