- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of providing Unarmed Guard Service for inmates at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, requiring hospitalization in local area hospitals. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option period is 21,500 estimated manhours. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 23, 2003 and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about July, 10, 2003. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered.
