- Description
- The U.S. Department of Education intends to award a contract to Microsoft Corporation of Redmond, WA for premier support services of its products on a sole source basis. The anticipated contract award on a sole source basis is in accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated term of the contract is July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004 with annual options thereafter. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The MS Premier Support includes: Support Consulting, Supportability Reviews, Information Services (including Premier Online Support Subscription, Participation in Expert Roundtables, Microsoft TechNet Plus Subscription, and Microsoft Developer Network Subscription), and Technical Support (including Incident Submission and Resolution, Hotfix Support, Remote Dial-In, Multi-Vendor Coordination, Onsite Emergency Support).
