Description
NAICS Code: 541820 NAICS Code: 541820. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to the U.S. Soccer Foundation to promote sun safe messages to families and children attending professional soccer events. The goal of this program is to encourage children to change their behaviors in order to prevent skin cancer, cataracts, and other sun-related illnesses. Through the EPA SunWise School initiative targeting K-8 students, the U.S. Soccer Foundation will develop creative programs integrating SunWise components to reach youth soccer groups and coordinate player appearances with schools participating in the program. The Contractor will also deliver public service announcements via stadium public address systems, scoreboard announcements and informational giveaways as coordinated at in-stadium events to reach a broad national audience. The U.S. Soccer Foundation's Mission Statement guides a wide range of initiatives, one of which is to foster programs that provide health, physical fitness and educational opportunities through soccer. This priority of the U.S. Soccer Foundation makes them uniquely qualified to assist in communicating SunWise School Program information about sun safe behaviors. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541820. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. However anyone who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Interested firms shall provide detailed information outlining their capabilities. Any response failing to provide the aforementioned data will be disregarded. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Jami Rodgers via email at rodgers.jami@epa.gov.
