- Description
- Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole-source contract with Goodrich Corporation, Engineered Polymer Products Division, 6061 B.F. Goodrich Boulevard, Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL 32226. This contract will be awarded pursuant to USC 2304(c)(1). It will acquire thirteen Sonar Composite Domes, fifteen Sonar Dome Rubber Windows and Engineering and Technical Services in support of the Surface Sonar Dome program and Foreign Military Sales. Goodrich is the only known source with the unique technical and manufacturing capability to design, develop, and fabricate wire-reinforced or composite technology windows and domes. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy?s requirements.
